Zepur Shahoian oversees the entirety of our Elementary Department, from working directly with our teachers to creating programs that help our children excel academically while remaining well rounded citizens. She started her career in education over 15 years ago working both in public and private schools. She received her Bachelor's degree in Law and Society as well as Philosophy. She then earned her Master’s degree in Education along with her Elementary and High School Teaching Credentials. In addition, she holds her Tier II Administrative Credential.
She began as a teacher and went on to become a teacher trainer helping new and existing faculty provide the best possible education for their students. She also offered school-wide professional development to elevate the students’ experience as well as staff knowledge and expertise. Mrs. Shahoian then moved into her role as Vice Principal serving in both public and private schools. She remained in this position until she had her own children when she took time off to focus on raising them. In addition to a strong commitment to education, the Armenian culture and language is an integral part of her family upbringing, and as such, all three of her children attend AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School.
