50th Anniversary of AGBU MDS: St. Peter Armenian School Opening Day

On this meaningful 50th anniversary of our school, we had the distinct honor of welcoming distinguished guests from St. Peter’s Armenian Day School to celebrate the VERY FIRST Opening Day and commemorate the legacy from which it was born.

Nearly five decades ago, AGBU St. Peter Armenian Day School opened its doors to just 19 students on the grounds of St. Peter Church. From those humble beginnings emerged a vision rooted in faith, Armenian heritage, culture, and academic excellence, one that continues to shape generations today.

This moment was more than a special visit - it was a powerful reflection of continuity, gratitude, and shared purpose. As we celebrate 50 years of learning, leadership, and community, we honor the foundations laid before us and the enduring values that unite our past, present, and future.
